Darkest Hour…
The video opens with Roman playing with Rose, before she tries to run and he reveals that cane has a hook-shot to reel her in. Before he can get any further in his interrogation her friends come and he tells them to kill her as she tries to make a break. Long story short, they get into a game of train-top leapfrog to get away from bombs and then a fight with a bunch of mooks as its revealed that the train-bombs are creating openings for Grimm to get into the city.
They split up with Weiss, Blake, and Yang to stop the bombs while Ruby and Oobleck go out to stop the train. Yang gets into a fight with Neo, which starts one-sided… by which I mean Yang got messed up. Weiss, on the other end, gets into a fight with an Elite Mook using a chainsaw who has a hard-on for killing Schnee, and Blake gets into a fight with Roman and showcases the use of a dust cartridge Weiss gave her to make short-work of him.
Weiss seems to have the advantage in her fight as she’s faster, and by which I mean she pulls some Sonic the Hedgehog moves. But he’s stronger and takes the blows before grabbing her and getting ready to saw her in half. Yang, on the other end, gets tossed around by Neo’s more passive style and goes down.
So Roman, being the only one who lost, tries to lecture Blake on she would never be accepted as Weiss gets knocked into her cart and she knocks him out to save Weiss. Neo’s getting ready to stab Yang when some ninja woman comes out of nowhere and Neo runs away before the woman opens some kind of wormhole and escapes as Yang comes to.
Oobleck and Rose do much better, but he tells her to go ahead while he and the dog handle things in the rear. They see that it’s a dead end at the train stop and Weiss tries to protect them, but in the end the train crashes and brings with it a ton of Grimm to swarm the helpless population.
Damn, this episode was hardcore to a whole new level. While the samurai-ninja woman came out of left-field, the rest was a brutal and harsh affair that I had to admit the bad guys won. 5 out of 5.
