RWBY Season 3 – Episode 3
Weiss runs with Ruby in tow to meet her sister, Winter, who seems like even more of an Ice Queen than her at first but is clearly concerned about her well-being. Their reunion is cut short when Qrow shows up and calls her out on showing up, picking a fight she quickly obliged in. We then get an awesome action scene of the two of them wrecking Beacon’s Courtyard in an awesome fight until Ironwood shows up to drag them both off after Ruby says hello to her uncle and Penny.
In Ozpin’s office, Qrow gets on Ironwood about bringing in the military, but he states he did it to show their enemies they aren’t afraid and they’ll protect them. Ozpin points out it also brings questions of what they are defending them against with such a large force. We then see that Cinder is unconcerned with his appearance as she arranges the next match.
Qrow is a constantly sloshed troll of a cool uncle… he’s a freaking DMC character and I love him for it. Winter was basically an older Weiss, but I’m wondering what the past is between her and Qrow cause they went at it hard real fast. It was cute seeing the RWBY girls cheer on their relatives too, no wonder they became so skilled when they have great role models to look up to.
We also gain more intelligence on a conspiracy for the benefit of mankind and see they all have everyone’s best interests in mind, so it’s a good episode that combines plot and action.
